Greencastle, June 5 -- W. PORTER, 72, well known Clinton Twp farmer died at the county hospital Wed. night at 10 following an operation several days ago to relieve a cancerous condition. His condition had been critical for several days. He is survived by two sons, Floyd and Fred Porter, both of Putnam Co as well as a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives. His wife died two years ago. The body will remain at McCurry Funeral Home, Greencastle until Friday afternoon when funeral services will be held from the Seceder Church near Portland Mills at 2 o'clock. -- kbz
